This Is John MacDonald

Born and raised in Wolfeboro, John MacDonald has spent his life here. His children and grandchildren are here, and the future of this community is personal to him. His public-service career began with New Hampshire Marine Patrol and continued as a State Police detective. He brought decades of experience in public safety, investigation, judgment and working with people into the New Hampshire House.

Around town, John is still simply John. You may see him having coffee at Dunkin’, serving at senior luncheons, or marching in the Fourth of July parade. He is most comfortable listening, learning the facts, and finding a way forward.

John is quiet, kind, and ethical. He listens, thinks strategically, and knows how to work with people. Republicans and Democrats alike trust him because he focuses on solving problems, not political posturing.

This approach has produced results for our lakes, crime victims, public safety, local government, and taxpayers. Good policy gets done by sitting down with scientists, selectmen, and neighbors until the problem moves forward.
